2021 USA Archery Oklahoma State Indoor and JOAD Tournament

Register now for the 2021 USA Archery Oklahoma State Indoor and JOAD Championship, hosted by the Oklahoma Storm JOAD and the Oklahoma Redhawk Archery Team. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, February 17 – no walk-ins will be accepted.

Location: H&H Shooting Sports, 400 Vermont Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73108 (park in back)
Dates: Saturday, Sunday on February 20-21 and February 27-28
Shooting Lines: JOAD only at 10:00 am, Indoor Youth/Adult at 2:00 pm

USA Archery is allowing this state championship event to count for the USA Archery 52nd Indoor Nationals. More info here.  The costs will vary, depending on the athlete’s choices:
– State JOAD event fee (youth only) – $35
– State Indoor event fee (youth and adult) – $35
– National JOAD event fee (youth only) – $20
– National Indoor event fee (youth and adult) – $40

Rules and Format

Age Classes:
Registration is set to check for age of participants based on the 2021 calendar year. 
Bowman (age 12 and under)
Cub (age 13-14)
Cadet (age 15-17)
Junior (age 18-20)
Senior (age 21-49)
Masters (age 50 and over)

Bow Divisions: Recurve, Compound, Barebow/Basic Compound (NASP)
Note: Barebow division is for recurve bows without sight and other accessories, or basic compound bows with no sights and finger release (i.e., Mathews Genesis) 

Shooting format:
USA Archery Indoor single 600 round (20 ends of 3 arrows per end, 2 minutes per end). 

Sanctioning: This is a sanctioned USA Archery State Championship and a registered Star FITA event where World and National records can be set.

Bow Divisions: Recurve, Compound, Barebow/Basic Compound (NASP)

Distance: 18 meters

Target face:
– Bowman and Cub, recurve/barebow/basic compound – 60 cm
– All other recurve/barebow/basic compound – 40 cm
– All compound – 40 cm with inner-10 scoring
Archers may elect to shoot a single spot target face, or a vertical 3-spot (40cm only)

USA Archery Dress Code will be in effect.

USA Archery & World Archery shooting rules will be in effect.

Health & Safety:

Much work went into obtaining approval for facilities to host this event. These requirements for health and safety procedures are an important part of this approval. These procedures are identical to measures taken at this year’s SoCal Showdown and Gator Cup national events.

Masks are required for all archers and spectators at all times, except for archers while on the shooting line.

Spectators will be limited to 1 spectator per minor (under 18 years) archer.  There will be no spectators for adult archers.  This is due to spacing limitations.

Seating will be limited to 1 seat per archer, and spectators per above limitations, and will utilize 6′ spacing.

Please Note: As a registered participant in a USA Archery sanctioned event, you are required to adhere to the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies for the duration of the event.
